Our project of Peace Education will be presented at the University of Granada, Spain in July from 19th and 26th, 2026. You can learn more about the program: https://www.i-i-p-e.org/iipe-2026/
Receiving the invitation and having the quality of our work recognized by the International Institute on Peace Education fills our heart with joy and motivates us to improve and expand our actions. The meeting will bring together 60 peace educators, researchers, and activists for a week, and being among those selected to participate is an incredible achievement because, after all, our project is carried out free of charge and through a collective effort of volunteers from our team in partnership with the Educational Institute André Luiz.
The total cost of our participation and travel will be about US$3,500, and we are seeking community support to attend this event. Any amount will be a great help, and togetherI am sure we can reach our goal!

Since the beginning of our program in 2018, we have already achieved many successes. Due to the program’s innovative nature and the excellent results with young people, we are opening paths that were previously only in our wildest dreams, and today we are dreaming while awake because each day we are certain that we are on the right track. Our actions are gaining recognition from prestigious global institutions such as…UNESCO, Schools of Peace, International Institute on Peace Education, Global Campaign for Peace Education, Global Forum Re-imagining Education, among others.
Below is a list of national and international events in which we participated and/or were awarded;
2018 – Honor of Merit in the Congress on Adolescence at UNIFESP – S.P.
2019 – Participation in the Launch of SEE Learning in New Delhi, India by the invitation of Emory University (USA) with the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama
2019 – Award Top-10 Educator and participation in the E-book, organized by the Conectando Saberes, supported by Lemann Foundatio nand the Municipal Department of Education of Sorocaba, SP.
2022 – Our work was the subject of study in the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands
2024 – Participation and presentation of our program at the Peace Education in the event promoted by International Institute on Peace Education in Nepal
2025 – Presentation of our program at the Global Forum Re-imagining Education at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, India with the support of Foundation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and our community for travel and accommodation expenses.
2025 – Mini-course and presentation at the International Conference on Peace Studies at PUC-Rio.
2026 – Invitation to join the guide of UNESCO of Practices in Peace Education, including case studies and quality assessments of our actions.
2026 – Invitation to present our program at University of Granada, Spain, in a meeting promoted by International Institute on Peace Education and Global Campaign for Peace Education.
Each of these achievements strengthens our work, but none of this would be possible without the complete trust and support of the Educational Institute André Luiz
