Peace Education in Practice – Online Course

This course is an introduction to the concepts of Positive Peace and Nonviolence and can be used as a guide for those who wish to begin implementing a Peace Education program in their school or community. Since 2018 I have been developing a Peace Education program with teenagers in partnership with the Educational Institute Andre Luiz, the results and good practices of this program will be shared in the course. I will present a theoretical foundation, but the main focus will be guidance on how to implement practices, dynamics, and introduce content that can inspire action. After nearly 30 years of study and reflection in the field of Education, Culture of Peace, and participating in numerous international and regional events sharing my experience, I decided to create an online course with suggestions that can be applied and adapted for groups of young people and adults.
