Editorial – April 2019
Greetings!
We are very happy on bringing news direct from India! We will post special material about our participation in the international launch of SEE Learning in New Delhi soon. How to explain the joy and satisfaction of participating in this moment? It is a great honor to participate in this event that will be attended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as well as the researchers who have worked hard and earnestly for more than 20 years in the creation of this curriculum. This work was supported by the Dalai Lama Trust, Emory University and Vana Foundation. After the launch, we will participate in a fair of SEE Learning projects from different places of the world, where we will present our programs of Education for Peace and Leadership for the Future.
The event will happen between April 4th and 6th. For the interested ones the event can be followed by the internet, there will be live broadcast direct from New Delhi via the link http://www.dalailama.com/live or you can follow the updates and news through the hashtag #seelaunch2019.
In Dharamsala, the official residence of the Dalai Lama, we will participate in the 9th Body, Mind and Life Conference, which will be held at the Men-Tsee-Khang Institute of Astro-Science and Tibetan Medicine.
We can not forget to mention the sacred and enchanted sites that we will visit, such as the Ganges River source at Rishikesh, the Taj Mahal in Agra, Jaipur and Amritsar in the northwestern Punjabi state, where there is Harmandir Sahib, the golden temple of the Sikhs.
In our journey we will combine work, pilgrimage, adventure and study. From this experience we will elaborate a travel itinerary for those who have the dream to meet India – we are forming a small group that we will go along in the trip. We will give more details soon. There will be no activity at our headquarters during the month of April.
